Why am I doing this? I like challenges. I want to push myself to the limits and make my senior rowing season epic.
What will this blog look like?
I have been rowing for a while. I am not "unfit." However, I have no idea what the world of elite rowing looks like. I want to get there.

Reflections
How did it go?
Gotta fuel!
Nutrition is going to be critical, especially when increasing my volume of exercise.
Here is what I am roughly aiming for
Hitting macro goals: I have set rough goals for the amount of carbs, fats, and protein I want in a day
Pre- and mid-Workout Snacks: Snacks galore - I am going to try to bring quick carbs (go-go squeeze, etc) with me as a mid-row snack
Post-Workout: Food. More food. Protein bars, nuts, you get the idea.
Hydration: I am attempting to drink between 3-4 liters of water a day.
Progress tracking
I am doing this to document my experience. Here are (some) of the methods:
This blog: Hi! You're here :) I am going to write down your daily workouts, nutrition, and how I feel.
Apps: Oh so many apps. Here is a few I am using:
Concept 2 Erg Data: Helps me track my erg data most accurately
Strava: Most of my workouts will end up here! Follow me!
Cronometer: Nutrition tracking
Bevel: Eh, some insights I suppose? Nothing new.
Stardust: Menstrual tracking
Garmin Connect: Connects to my watch :)
Wearables: I am using the Garmin Forerunner 55 to track my heartrate, sleep, etc.
