I got a massage, went prom dress shopping, raced, and worked as a dockhand in training.

Rowing

  • Distance: 1500m

  • Time: 6:55.5

  • Average Split: 2:18.5/ 500m

  • Stroke Rate: 36 spm

  • Performance Note: Race! Came in 2nd to Berwick

Supplemental

Massage! It was super helpful in loosening up my back, which was crazyyyyy tight.

I also stretched quite a bit.

📝 Reflections

  • Mental State: Exhausting, and the water wasn't too cold, until I stood in it for a long while

  • Obstacles: I didn't eat immediately after racing, which was challenging

  • Lesson learned: Warmer socks, and prioritize eating over being overly helpful

🥞Nutrition

I could definitely get more protein, but I think I fueled myself appropriately.

📚Additional work

I went prom dress shopping, which was good, that didn't take too long.

I helped out the other teams with launching/landing, as well as setting up/cleaning up the tent and food

🌄Looking ahead

The rest of the team is off tomorrow, but I'm planning on going out one-on-one with the coach
